The first half of this year has been very busy for Geocento. We have been working hard with our clients, partners and image suppliers to ensure that the service we offer is as good as it can be. For example, we have broadened both our drone and satellite image supplier networks to build upon our unrivalled range of imagery, making sure that whatever your requirements, we have what you need.
Additionally, earlier in the year, we found ourselves asking – why do we just give access to imagery? Clients come to us asking for a wide range of information, from the elevation of inaccessible areas, to the productivity of their crops. We therefore found that we need to offer more than just pictures from space, we need to offer imagery-derived analytics.
We have called this service EarthAnalytics and, although in its early stages, it has transformed what we do. Clients wanting information from imagery can now come to us, specify their requirements, and we will work with our contacts in industry-leading organisations to ensure you get what you need, from terrain mapping to hazard assessment. This network of partners enables us to provide integrated offerings, combining optimum image selection and planning, using our own capabilities, with the best in specialist image analysis. EarthAnalytics can therefore act as a marketplace, joining potential clients with the expert analytics services that they require.
Part of this new approach is to work more closely with these analytics providers, so that we can provide them with the imagery they require. Using our imagery search tool EarthImages and our expert knowledge, we want to work with these organisations to streamline how imagery is accessed. If these organisation tell us what they need, we can handle the rest, ensuring the imagery is efficiently delivered, allowing us to work with the image supplier so that they can focus on what they do best! If you are interested in how we can help your organisation, please contact us and we’d be happy to discuss this with you.
It is for these reasons that we have redesigned our website, to reflect our enhanced vision for Geocento, and to make our website that little bit easier to use and navigate. Please take a look at our website and try out our services.
