You have the right to make a complaint at any time to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues (www.ico.org.uk). Information we may collect from you
Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

Uses made of the information
We only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Generally, we do not rely on consent as a legal basis for processing your personal data unless you have expressly agreed to receive communications from us or specific third parties. You may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting our nominated representative Kim Partington. Most commonly we will use personal information held about you in the following ways:

Disclosure of your information
We may share your personal information with any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006.

- If Geocento Limited or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.
- We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the DPL. We do not allow our third party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes and only permit them to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.
Where we store your personal data
Whenever we transfer your personal data outside the EEA, or we permit our suppliers to do so we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring at least one of the following safeguards are in place:
- We will only permit the transfer of your personal data to countries that have been deemed to provide as adequate level of protection for personal data by the European Commission.
- Where we use certain service providers we may use specific contracts approved by the European Commission which give personal data the same protection it has in the EEA.
- Where we use providers based in the USA we may transfer personal data to them if they are part of the Privacy Shield, which requires them to provide similar protection to personal data as if it was shared between two EEA based entities.

Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and our regulator the ICO of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including the purpose of satisfying any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. We will retain personal data for up to 2 years from the time you provide the data in order to facilitate follow-up business enquiries. It we have not received consent to retain this data and/or it is not relevant to a legitimate active business enquiry, we will delete the data. To determine the appropriate retention periods we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal data the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure and the purposes for which we process that personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.
By law we have to keep basic information about customers for six years for tax purposes.
In some cases we anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.
You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will inform you and obtain your express consent (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data. Our site may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. Access to information
The DPL gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the DPL. Under the DPL you may have the right to:
- Ask us to provide you with a copy of the personal data we hold about you,
- Request a correction to your personal data
- Remove your personal data
- Object to processing of your personal data
- Request restriction of processing of your personal data
- Withdraw any express consents previously given

However, we are permitted to charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.
If you exercise your rights we may need you to provide further specific information to help us to confirm your identity and ensure that you have a right to access to that data. This is a security measure and is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it.
We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer if your request is complex or you have made a number of requests, but we will keep you informed and updated.
