KOMPSAT-3 SATELLITE IMAGERY
Kompsat-3 is sub-metre resolution optical satellite which was launched on May 17, 2012 and is planned to remain operational until 2020. This mission aims to provide earth observation data for agricultural, environmental and ocean monitoring. KOMPSAT-3 offers imagery in both panchromatic and multi-spectral forms and has the unique ability to image the earth at a local access time of 13:30 hours, which increases the chances of obtaining a cloud-free image.
