DEIMOS-1 SATELLITE IMAGERY

DEIMOS-1 is a medium resolution satellite which has been globally exploited for agricultural and forestry monitoring, though it is a valuable tool for many different applications. The satellite was launched in 2009 and provides 22m resolution imagery in 3 spectral bands, with a 650km swath. This ensures a revisit time of approximately 3 days, allowing high temporal resolution monitoring of the earth’s surface.
